Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Ascension Seton is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
