As a Clinical Respiratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care while collaborating with our Respiratory Sales Representatives to facilitate seamless transitions for patients from hospital to home. This approach not only enhances patient outcomes but also optimizes hospital stay durations and reduces re-admission rates, ultimately lowering costs and providing personalized care.

Position Overview:

This dual-role position combines business development with hands-on clinical service, requiring a proactive individual who is both a patient advocate and a positive representative of our organization. Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and engaging potential referral sources while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Utilizing clinical and sales expertise to craft innovative strategies that promote our disease management program and respiratory products.
  • Spending the majority of your time (80% or more) in the field, networking, and educating healthcare professionals about the benefits of our services for patients with Chronic Respiratory Failure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote our disease management program to potential and existing referral sources.
  • Develop strategic action plans for sales territory management.
  • Conduct educational presentations for healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and account activity reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance our home respiratory therapy services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and documentation of services.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and inquiries.
  • Meet or exceed established sales quotas.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and territory management abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Extensive experience in a clinical setting, particularly in ICU/CCU ventilator management.
  • Prior experience in healthcare sales is preferred.
