Job Summary

LaborMAX Staffing is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including level sensors and pneumatic panels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies using plumbing schematics, assembly drawings, and bill of materials.
  • Run air lines from pneumatics panels to air-operated valves, pumps, and tanks.
  • Label all valves, pumps, filters, panels, and facilities connections.
  • Install sub-assemblies into the system.
  • Assist in final setting and leveling the tool prior to system testing.
  • Clean and prep tools for clean room entry.

Requirements

  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to perform hot flaring on PFA tubing and assemble PVC piping.
  • Ability to use multiple different types of hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills to review drawings, bill of materials, chemical compatibility of components, and installation instructions for various components.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to effectively understand and operate within safety guidelines and policies.

Working Conditions

The Mechanical Assembler will work in a standard production/manufacturing environment, with extended periods of standing, occasional walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
