Job Title: Metal Fabricator

At Digifabshop, we are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the fabrication of custom metal components and assemblies for a variety of architectural and design-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal fabrication machinery, including saws, sanders, and CNC machines, to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Choose appropriate metal materials and finishes for each project, considering durability, aesthetics, and budget constraints.
  • Monitor machine performance and conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and tools to keep them in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members, including designers and production managers, to achieve project goals and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in metal fabrication machinery and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Understanding of metal materials and finishes.
  • Strong measurement and mathematical skills for precise cutting and assembly.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle materials.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noises. Employees are always required to wear P.P.E. while on the manufacturing floor.
