Research Applications Developer I, School of Medicine, Anatomy and Neurobiology

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Applications Developer I to join our team at the School of Medicine, Anatomy and Neurobiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing applications for data collection, processing, and quality assurance pipelines for digital data types collected at the Framingham Heart Study, BU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, and other research sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop applications for data collection, processing, and quality assurance pipelines for digital data types
- Work with research teams to design and implement data pipelines
- Ensure data provenance and quality assurance
- Collaborate with developers to integrate data pipelines with existing systems
- Provide technical support and training to research teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Programming experience in Python, R, or SQL
- 1-2 years of experience in data pipeline development
- Strong understanding of data provenance and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
