Job Summary
Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a skilled Computer Operator V to provide technical support for a variety of technical issues. This is a full-time position that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex operating problems and develop processes to avoid loss of information or to conserve computer time.
- Provide technical assistance to lower-level operators and assist programmers, systems analysts, and subject matter specialists with problem resolution.
- Conduct operational checks and replace defective parts and assemblies to restore failed equipment to good working order.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a technical support role, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be Security+ certified and able to isolate equipment/system/software malfunctions. Solid customer service skills, including good communication and professionalism. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
