Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Billing Manager to oversee our financial operations. This role is essential in managing billing functions and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to industry standards. The successful candidate will lead the billing department, overseeing everything from invoice generation to customer account management. This high-impact position requires a robust understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliation, electronic billing systems, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and enhance billing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
2. Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices, guaranteeing accuracy and punctuality.
3. Lead the development and upkeep of billing systems that cater to both client and business needs.
4. Ensure the accuracy and timely production of all billing and financial reports.
5. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, swiftly addressing any discrepancies.
6. Collaborate with various departments to implement and uphold best practices in billing.
7. Formulate and enforce policies and procedures to promote billing efficiency and precision.
8. Provide leadership and support to the billing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
9. Address complex customer billing inquiries, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
10. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant state and federal billing regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (preferred).
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing management role, ideally within the finance sector.
3. Expertise in accounts receivable, reconciliation, electronic billing systems, and contract management.
4. Strong familiarity with billing procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
5. Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for team management and motivation.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of handling intricate billing challenges.
7. High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
11. Strong understanding of customer relations and a commitment to excellent service.
