About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pool Attendant to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our pool areas, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and professional image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of residents and guests utilizing the pool area.
  • Clean up the general pool area by returning chairs and equipment back to proper locations.
  • Perform testing of pool water and record the data.
  • General pool maintenance- including vacuuming, cleaning of skimmers, & sweeping.
  • Attend pool monitor meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an aquatic setting desirable.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus.
  • Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people. Must be energetic.
  • Accountable for one's own work, decisions, and safety of oneself and others.

Working Environment:

The Pool Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with residents, guests, and colleagues. The position requires the ability to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties.
