We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Technician to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Support Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
- Review patient care documentation and report any significant changes in the patient's condition to a registered nurse or physician.
- Provide a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, and maintaining medical records.
- Provide clinical support assistance, including cleaning the work area, maintaining office equipment, and transporting patients and supplies.
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
- Measure and record vital signs, patient height and weight, and perform other tasks as outlined in the plan of care.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Requires six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience
