Job Summary

This internship is open to currently enrolled Clayton State University students. As a Housing and Residence Life Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in housing and residence life management, including co-supervising student assistants, managing mail and package operations, auditing area vacancies, conducting safety inspections, and assisting with staff recruitment.

Responsibilities
  • Co-supervise student assistants in the housing office to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Assist with managing the time of student assistants in the housing office to maximize productivity.
  • Manage mail and package operations to ensure timely and secure delivery.
  • Audit and report on area vacancies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct safety inspections of residential units to ensure a safe living environment.
  • Recruit summer and fall student staff to support the housing and residence life team.
  • Assist in the recruitment of Resident Assistants and graduate ACUHO- housing program interns to enhance the student experience.
  • Assist the Director with special research projects related to operations and business development to drive innovation and improvement.
Required Qualifications

Must be a currently enrolled Clayton State University student.
