At Target, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills. The Stores Executive Internship is a paid, 40-hour-per-week program designed to provide a realistic job preview of the Executive Team Leader role. As a Stores Executive Intern, you'll work closely with other managers and team members to develop an understanding of how Target's retail business works and what it takes to excel in a management role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of hourly team members to deliver exceptional guest service and drive sales results
  • Develop and implement business strategies and goals to drive store performance and improve guest satisfaction
  • Work closely with Executive Team Leads and other leaders to gain an understanding of their roles and responsibilities
  • Participate in daily huddles and meetings to stay informed and aligned with store priorities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Target's retail business, including financial, team, and operational performance
What You'll Learn
  • Guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first team culture
  • Guest engagement, problem-solving, and resolution
