Global Enterprise Services, LLC is in search of a highly skilled Senior Voice Engineer to oversee and enhance the performance of our voice communication systems. This role is crucial for diagnosing and rectifying performance challenges while managing the configuration, monitoring, and upgrading of our voice architecture.

Work Schedule
  • Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM
Security Clearance

Applicants must possess a Secret clearance and be a US Citizen, passing all necessary background checks. Maintaining the required security clearances is essential for this role.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) in a relevant field
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) is mandatory before commencing employment
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNPC) or an equivalent or higher certification is required
Technical Expertise
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cisco Voice Engineer
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cisco UCM, SBCs, Call Manager Express, and voice gateways
  • Proficient in both modern and legacy voice protocols
  • Experience managing multi-site dial plans and call routing
  • Ability to analyze network traffic flow in complex environments
  • Skilled in network diagramming and documentation (Visio)
  • Proficient in writing well-structured technical documentation
  • Experience with VMWare Network Virtualization
  • Knowledge of Routing and Switching
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Adept at educating others on intricate topics
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and provide technical support for Cisco Unified Communications technologies
  • Assist Tier-II and Tier-III engineers with escalated tickets, serving as the voice subject matter expert
  • Conduct technical evaluations and devise solutions for complex challenges
  • Test new technologies within the system's integration lab environment
  • Utilize vendor tools to identify root causes of voice-related issues
  • Develop technical documentation for voice systems and projects
  • Act independently to enhance responsible systems and advance program objectives
  • Collaborate with external voice SMEs, offering guidance on network configuration and design considerations
  • Oversee upgrades to all supported VoIP/UC systems to comply with cybersecurity standards
  • Review installation progress for accuracy, adherence to design specifications, and compliance with telecommunications standards
  • Perform additional duties related to voice technology as assigned
