We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee a cleaning crew and manage floor care and specialized maintenance services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Implementing industrial cleaning standards and adhering to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Coordinating cleaning activities for federal buildings and grounds.
  • Maintaining a professional work environment while servicing client properties.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in custodial services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintenance.
Essential Duties
As part of your role, you will:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of offices, restrooms, and laboratories on a daily basis.
  • Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections for quality assurance.
  • Operate floor maintenance equipment, including buffers and vacuums.
  • Manage inventory records for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Physical Requirements
This position requires light to medium lifting and the use of various cleaning tools and chemicals. The work environment is typically indoors with temperatures ranging from 70-80 degrees.
