POSITION TITLE: Environmental Project Coordinator (mid/entry level) in the construction sector

SALARY RANGE: Salary Range: 0 - 2 years experience, $55K to $65K; 2 - 5 years experience, $65K to $80K

Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc., a leading contractor in environmental remediation, is seeking an entry-level professional to assist with environmental construction initiatives. Our firm is recognized nationally, ranking #3 in ENR for 2024, and we have a robust pipeline of projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Documenting daily construction activities
• Tracking material deliveries and maintaining various production logs
• Preparing written work plans and technical drawings
• Ensuring quality control of ongoing construction in line with project specifications
• Coordinating site deliveries with field personnel
• Managing procurement of materials, equipment rentals, and professional services
• Assisting in project scheduling
• Overseeing project accounting and financial management
• Creating Purchase Orders for materials, equipment, and subcontracting services
• Collaborating with site supervision on various tasks
• Participating in weekly stakeholder meetings
• Interfacing with clients and their representatives

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution
• 0 to 5 years of experience in construction or engineering/consulting
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Familiarity with MS Project and AutoCAD is advantageous but not mandatory
• A general understanding of OSHA safety regulations is preferred
• Experience in heavy civil or earthwork construction is a plus
