Key Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, your duties will include:
- Conducting regular preventive maintenance on clinical equipment, ensuring all devices are operating at peak performance.
- Responding promptly to urgent repair requests for biomedical equipment, utilizing our maintenance management system.
- Inspecting and documenting new clinical equipment, collaborating with team members to establish future maintenance tasks.
- Assisting senior technicians with complex repair and maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license, which must be maintained throughout your employment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electromechanical troubleshooting.
