About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oxbow, a world leader in the production and distribution of calcined petroleum coke. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues, using your expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Document equipment historical data to inform reliability analysis and planning for necessary upgrades.
  • Provide handover to oncoming technicians to ensure seamless transitions during shift changes.
  • Perform periodic inventory of spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification from a trade or technical school in maintenance or repair preferred.
  • Five or more years of work experience as a mechanic or in a similar capacity; valid license required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
