Job Summary

Elev8 Baltimore is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Coach to join our team. As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff to create a supportive and structured environment for students
  • Implement after-school and summer program activities, including chaperoning field trips
  • Plan and conduct academic enrichment time for small groups of students
  • Provide classroom management support during recreational and arts activities
  • Collaborate with enrichment partners to implement after-school and summer activities
  • Complete required documentation, including attendance rosters
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Assist with snack and meal distribution, and setup/breakdown of classroom space
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of college in a related field preferred
  • Able to lead and participate in group sports and recreation
  • Experience in developing group lesson plans or integrated learning activities
  • Commitment to working with youth from a strength-based perspective
  • Ability to motivate others and work as part of an inter-generational team
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of individual cultural history and a willingness to be open and respectful of all cultures
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and model a mature and professional demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to the ethics of good character, humility, and servant leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Authorization for background check for criminal and child protective findings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of software
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID and show proof of vaccination
