Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Coordinator for Construction Equipment, you will play a crucial role in the strategy for providing equipment, supplies, and vehicles. Your responsibilities will include supporting and advising on the procurement of equipment, supplies, and vehicles, as well as determining equipment/vehicle charge rates from a business perspective.

You will optimize the logistical foundations for vehicle and equipment requests via "HG-Shop", a web-based internal ordering platform for machinery, equipment, magazine, and consumables. Your tasks will also include actively communicating with requesters and stakeholders within the department, coordinating delivery dates and documents, and ensuring their accuracy.

Additionally, you will accept and process transport orders, create quotes for the transport of machinery and other goods, and handle complaints. Your expertise in construction management will be valuable in this role, and you will be expected to assist in the deployment planning of transport vehicles and in the planning of upcoming maintenance work for construction equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or supply engineering, or a completed technical training or a comparable qualification through many years of experience. Ideally, you will have training or further education in construction management.

You will be a strong communicator and problem-solver, able to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics processes.
