Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specifications and targets to stakeholders
  • Identify, lead, and resolve dimensional issues
  • Perform statistical analysis using simulation software
  • Define, verify, and align gap and flush requirements
  • Validate system and component GD&T compatibility
  • Monitor production process and control
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • 8+ years of dimensional engineering experience
  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
  • Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and process control (Six Sigma)
  • Knowledge of Variation Simulation Analysis (3DCS software)
  • Knowledge in automotive plastic, sheet metal, and casting parts
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of dimensional engineering deliverables within a vehicle development process
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management adopted in automotive (e.g., Jira)
  • Strong cross-functional experience with Studio, Engineering, Suppliers, and Quality
Bonus Requirements
  • Familiarity with ISO GD&T Standards
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5, CATIA V6, and visualization software
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $255,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level.

Leveling and positioning within a level are determined by a range of factors, including relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
