Job Title: Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Right at Home West LA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join their team in the West Los Angeles region.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who is driven by a strong sense of dedication and compassion to provide exceptional personal care services to elderly and disabled clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Remind clients to take medications accurately and ensure their specific medical needs are met.
  • Contribute to light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Cultivate a sense of companionship and emotional support through meaningful conversations.
  • Facilitate transportation to medical appointments, errands, and recreational outings.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous, but not required.
  • Display a compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and respond effectively.
  • Uphold reliability, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Hold a valid and registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license, recent TB test results, and up-to-date CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are considered valuable assets.
  • Candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
