About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Friends and Family Home Care. As a Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Friends and Family Home Care team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute, if necessary.
