Job Title: Store Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Clerk to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service
  • Process sales transactions using a cash register and handle customer payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sorting room and warehouse
  • Sort and process donated items, including clothing, shoes, and household goods
  • Hang and display merchandise in a visually appealing manner
  • Perform routine mathematical computations and count change
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including boxes and bags
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
