Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, assign, direct, and coordinate daily operations to meet facility goals and objectives.
- Develop, update, and implement functional work policies, processes, and procedures.
- Establish and manage department orientation and on-the-job training programs for staff and inmate workers.
- Provide supervisory oversight to facility maintenance and trades staff.
- Ensure the effective execution of routine and specialized maintenance, construction, and repair tasks.
- Prepare reports and plan the annual department budget.
- Two years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman, Utility Plant Supervisor, or Corrections Tradesman Instructor with a specialty in one of the trades of Carpentry, Electrical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Machinist, Welding, Painting, Automotive, Electronics, or Masonry.
- Or six years of experience in the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation, maintenance and repair of utility services equipment, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
- Full-time employment with a 40-hour work week.
