Job Title: Software Engineer, Lead

At Booz Allen Hamilton, we're seeking an experienced Software Engineer, Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled software engineer to lead the development of complex software systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design solutions, and implement software applications that meet those needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of software applications using a variety of programming languages, including Java, Python, and C++
  • Design and implement software architectures that meet business requirements and technical standards
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets technical standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on back-end development
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with cloud-based development, including AWS or Azure
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
