About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at Assured Information Security (AIS). As a key member of our STARGate team, you will be responsible for developing software tools for SIGINT processing, user interfaces, back-end server components, and website applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software tools for SIGINT processing, user interfaces, back-end server components, and website applications
  • Investigate and report on candidate technologies for use in software solutions
  • Collaborate with domain experts to capture new requirements and investigate challenge problems
  • Participate in technical exchanges with other programs and implement collaborative solutions
  • Contribute to design and architecture discussions and take responsibility for portions of the system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in software development
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
  • Minimum of three years of Java development experience
  • Ability to describe highly technical software systems and express technical solutions in an understandable, customer-appropriate fashion
  • Solid understanding of secure software development practices
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience with web development frameworks
  • Experience with Git
  • DoD IAT Level I certification
