As a key member of our grocery store team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations in the dairy and frozen food departments, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and a wide selection of fresh and appealing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations in the dairy and frozen food departments, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train team members on performance of their job, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Ensure that the department is merchandised per plan, with at-shelf product availability, freshness, quality, and value meeting company expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer confidence and loyalty, promoting and executing consistent and compliant operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of store operations and achieve sales and profit goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in a grocery store or retail environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Knowledge of basic math and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
