Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Senior Staff Engineer to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for managing and executing small to medium projects, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, and specifications
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis, and coordinate field investigations and laboratory testing
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with senior-level project managers to gain project management and engineering experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Master's degree in Engineering preferred
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required, with ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
