We are currently seeking experienced, registered Project Architects to become part of our Los Angeles office, specifically within our Data Centers market sector.

Responsibilities

The ideal Project Architect will be a collaborative, highly motivated individual working alongside leadership to ensure client satisfaction and effectively manage multiple challenging projects.


Key Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinating and integrating architectural and consultant construction documents, including redlining, detail review, QA/QC checks, and consultant collaboration.

• Developing innovative design solutions within the project's functional parameters.

• Translating concepts and information into visual representations.

• Preparing and finalizing usable construction document detailing solutions.

• Assisting in the creation and management of project schedules.

• Presenting suitable technical solutions to stakeholders.

• Leading project studio team members, leveraging their strengths, and providing mentorship.


• Proactively addressing issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives in collaboration with the Project Manager.

• Demonstrating a solid understanding of industry standards and construction practices.

• Applying knowledge of construction methods and timelines.

• Staying informed about and appropriately applying new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.

• Conducting presentations and managing client relations.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess the following:
• A professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial architecture.

• Experience in Data Centers or supporting large teams on extensive projects is required.

• Professional registration or anticipation of registration.

• A strong commitment to QA/QC.

• A thorough understanding of how a drawing set is assembled.


• An understanding of construction methods and buildability, with the ability to apply this knowledge to support project design and budget.

• The ability to lead and collaborate within a diverse project team environment.

• Strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities.

• Expertise in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Confident presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Revit is strongly preferred; experience with other 3D software is advantageous.

• Candidates should be adept at coordinating project deliverables and managing client expectations.

• Experience in preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination is essential.

• A keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• A flexible attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities are crucial.
