Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:
a. Arrive punctually for scheduled group and individual sessions.
b. Arrange the aquatic environment to foster individual achievement.
c. Provide constructive feedback to assess participant progress and suggest improvements.
d. Ensure all swimming aids and equipment are properly stored at the end of your shift.
e. Verify that participants fulfill course completion criteria.
f. Offer supportive guidance to those struggling to meet course requirements.
g. Assist with administrative tasks at the Aquatics Program and Service desks.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Experience:
o Minimum of one year of instructional experience.
Essential Skills:
o Ability to manage multiple tasks within the aquatic environment. Adaptability to change is crucial. Demonstrated compassion and patience are required.
Licensure and Certifications:
o Lifeguard Certification upon hire.
o Water Safety Instructor Certification to be obtained within one year of employment.
