Job Summary

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD and/or DON, the Certified Nurse Assistant I-On-Call is responsible for providing high-quality patient/resident care according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, coworkers, and vendors
  • Manage medications effectively
  • Implement infection control techniques in patient/resident care
  • Monitor and report changes in patient/resident condition
  • Exchange critical information for quality patient/resident care
  • Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy
  • Utilize equipment correctly and safely in patient/resident care
  • Follow department safety protocols at all times
  • Report any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor
  • Adhere to highest standards of cleanliness and follow federal, state, and corporate policies, health codes, and guidelines in food preparation and handling
  • Attend mandatory inservice meetings and comply with all department and facilities policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and professional written communication skills
  • Certified Nurse Assistant credential
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0 Year Experience/training as required by state regulations
  • 0 Year Long term care, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative nursing experience
