Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant PCU8

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nurse Assistant will assist registered nurses in providing basic patient care, including hygiene, nutrition, and skin integrity. You will also perform routine data collection and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document basic patient care activities relating to hygiene, feeding, safety, skin integrity, elimination, and comfort.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
  • Ambulate patients and assist in general movement for activity/exercises directed by the R.N.
  • Communicate pertinent and relevant information relating to the patient's status to the registered nurse.
  • Respond to medical and environmental emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • HS Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and recent work-related experience.
  • CNA-Certified Nurse Assistant
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Preferred Experience:

One year of acute care experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to provide basic patient care to a diverse patient population group
  • Demonstrates a customer-service-oriented attitude
Work Schedule:

Full-time position with variable shift hours, including evenings and weekends.
