Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Jordan's Furniture. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and renovation of our facilities, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Operations Management: Train, evaluate, schedule, motivate, and mentor facilities operations personnel.
  • Maintenance and Renovation Coordination: Coordinate activities of facilities employees to provide maintenance and renovation of equipment and systems throughout all facilities.
  • Permit and License Acquisition: Participate in the acquisition of permits, licenses, and other construction-related documents and ensure they remain current.
  • Building Codes and Safety Standards: Ensure that building codes and safety standards are maintained and enforced both inside and outside the facilities.
  • Project Management: Responsible for assuring that all projects and assigned work are completed within the approved department budget.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Oversees repairs and maintenance of grounds, including snow removal, ice, or inclement weather conditions, and sewer operations.
  • Entertainment Venue Management: Manages the maintenance and repair of entertainment venues and components.
  • Reporting and Training: Oversees preparation and review of department reports and training procedures.
  • Safety Standards Development: Develops safety standards and ensures that OSHA safety standards are maintained and followed by Facilities employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, 2-4 years previous supervisory experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid Electrician's license.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all building systems, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Availability: Required to be available and take appropriate action for emergency calls and situations during off-hours (nights & weekends, etc.).
  • Travel: Open to travel as needed for the position.
