**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at the Raleigh Housing Authority. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled work in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential units.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance duties such as repairs and replacements of doors, doorjambs, storm doors, windows, tile, sheetrock, bulbs, counters, cabinets, and floors.
  • Repair or replace bathroom fixtures, unclog drains, and complete other tasks as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the maintenance field.
  • Journeyman level skills in several trades, including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
  • A valid NC driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

**Compensation:** The estimated salary for this position is $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience.
