Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Walk to State LLC. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal condition of our residential properties in the Raleigh, NC area.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine and emergency repairs on equipment, fixtures, and building systems, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
  2. Complete work and repair orders efficiently and effectively.
  3. Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, vendors, and colleagues.
  4. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics as necessary to resolve issues.
  5. Estimate time and extent of repairs accurately.
  6. Manage material and supply inventory.
  7. Document pertinent information, including time, cost of materials, and property-specific details.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school certification preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems essential.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or related fields desirable.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate extreme temperatures.
  • Deadline-oriented and detail-focused individual ideal for this role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Strong technical, mechanical, and problem-solving abilities necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
