Key Responsibilities
The Lead Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical history.
- Identify patient and family needs, providing education and support.
- Facilitate clinical operations and ensure efficient patient care.
- Manage medication refill requests and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
- Triaging patient inquiries and documenting relevant information.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Assist patients in accessing community resources.
- Serve as a resource for LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
- A valid RN state license and current registration.
- Current CPR certification.
Working Conditions
