Position Summary

The Investment Advisors Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of brokerage support applications and enhancing the efficiency of Investment Advisors. This position requires a strong educational background and relevant experience in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate training sessions for new Investment Advisors on brokerage support systems, including trading processes and corporate actions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new external users of proprietary brokerage applications.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between Investment Advisors, the support desk, and Financial Advisors regarding policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the setup of products within the Wealth Management Advisory program.
  • Assist in testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements utilized by Investment Advisors.
  • Configure Investment Advisors to receive daily downloads for reconciliation tasks.
  • Monitor daily reports to ensure effective oversight of the SMA program.
  • Act as a liaison between external Investment Advisors and the Corporate Action department for reorganizational offers.
  • Maintain the internal proprietary database that generates manager profiles and performance metrics for the Advisory platform.
  • Collect and analyze survey responses from Investment Advisors quarterly to generate performance profiles.
  • Provide quarterly oversight for the posting and validation of manager profiles.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field is mandatory.
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats, with the ability to interact well with various levels of personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay updated on all policy and procedural changes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
