Gynecologic Oncology Physician

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Oncologist to join our esteemed Department of Gynecologic Oncology.
Our GYNONC program is a comprehensive academic practice, deeply involved in research, education, and clinical care. As the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Florida, we are at the forefront of groundbreaking advancements in cancer treatment.
We are actively engaged in translational research and all phases of clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies across various gynecologic oncology disease sites. Our expertise spans cell therapies, novel therapeutics, and biomarker evaluation within the immune environment.
Our collaborative culture fosters interdisciplinary partnerships between clinicians, basic scientists, and population scientists. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of advancing cancer care through cutting-edge research and exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of gynecologic oncology patients.
- Engage in clinical or translational research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and innovative treatment strategies.
- Participate actively in tumor boards, molecular genetics conferences, and other educational activities.
- Supervise Advance Practice Professionals and academic trainees, fostering their professional development.
- Deliver exceptional patient care across our main facility and local satellite locations, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Medical degree or foreign equivalent, plus completion of residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
- Board eligible or Board certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Qualified to obtain hospital privileges.
