Position Overview: Coaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the head coach in organizing and overseeing daily training sessions and competitive events.
  • Coordinate event schedules, procure necessary gear and uniforms while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Assist with arrangements for team travel logistics.
  • Participate in departmental and staff meetings.
  • Monitor the academic progress and eligibility of student-athletes.
  • Engage in the recruitment of potential student-athletes.
  • Foster relationships with the community, department, and stakeholders.

Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience.

A Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related discipline is required.

A competitive background in coaching is essential.

Must possess a valid Driver's License and be available to work evenings and weekends.

  • Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree, experience in collegiate coaching, familiarity with recruiting processes, and knowledge of NCAA regulations.
