Job Summary

The Phlebotomist I is responsible for the collection and processing of blood and other specimens.

Requirements

  • Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Formal phlebotomy education and/or phlebotomy certification
  • Experience
  • None required, but 6 months phlebotomy experience or 1 year related experience is preferred
  • Skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Proficient in using computers and computer systems
