Job Overview

KT Produce, established in 2005, stands as Arkansas' leading supplier of fresh produce. We deliver high-quality fruits and vegetables to a diverse range of foodservice providers, including restaurants, educational institutions, hotels, military facilities, healthcare organizations, and various other establishments across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southwest Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select specific items from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
  • Conduct visual inspections of orders to ensure accuracy in terms of quantity and size.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Adhere to all relevant OSHA and Food Safety regulations.
  • Ensure the warehouse is free from debris and well-organized.
  • Responsible for loading products onto designated trucks, ensuring stability and security.
  • Complete all route manifests and pick tickets accurately to confirm order fulfillment.
  • Perform down stacking of pallets as required and participate in scheduled warehouse cleaning.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and engage in processes related to product packaging.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Proficient in reading and speaking English.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent active listening skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Sunday to Friday (with Saturdays and one additional day off during the week).
  • Hours: 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay for entry-level positions is $14.50 per hour.
  • Consistent opportunities for overtime.
  • First pay increase following training and upon achieving job proficiency (typically within two weeks).
  • Sign-on Bonus: $500 cash awarded after 90 days of employment.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a cold environment for prolonged periods.
