Key Responsibilities:
  • Professionally greet members and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Scan membership IDs and update accounts as needed
  • Answer phones and respond to member inquiries
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a positive environment for members and staff
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including opening, closing, and mid-day shifts
  • Provide tours of our facilities to members and guests
  • Aid other departments with related tasks, demonstrating a team-oriented approach
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Reliable, professional, and computer literate, with excellent communication skills
  • Preferably interested in health, fitness, and/or sports
  • Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing, with the ability to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, including standing for long periods, sitting, walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height
  • Ability to perform pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs at a time
