Job Title: Engineer, Quality

We are seeking an experienced Engineer, Quality to join our team at AAA USA Inc. in Stuart, Florida. Our company has partnered with a leading global aerospace manufacturer to provide specialized subcontracting and technical assistance services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that aerospace products meet pre-defined standards of quality. This includes participating in product design reviews, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams, and designing and executing testing processes for product verification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.
  • Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the onset.
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Design and execute testing processes for product verification, including setting up of testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Analyze data from testing processes to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Maintain compliance with national and international quality standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing.
  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations based on findings.
  • Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audit finding reports.
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data to improve product manufacturing.
  • Review suppliers' purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, specifically in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and process control procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and drive for results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and understanding of engineering blueprints and schematics.
