Core Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: The Project Coordinator will employ takeoff software and Excel to create project proposals in collaboration with the project management team.
  • Project Development and Coordination: Assist in crafting project timelines, plans, and financial outlines. Coordinate necessary resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Contract Oversight: Review and ensure compliance with project contracts and specifications, identifying essential requirements and managing any changes.
  • Quality Control: Supervise work quality and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates, challenges, and solutions.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating agreements, and overseeing performance.
  • Financial Oversight: Aid in tracking project costs, forecasting expenses, and ensuring projects remain within budget.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive project records, including plans, schedules, logs, and reports, and generate regular updates for management and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, On-Screen Takeoff) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • ACI and concrete-specific certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
