About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Guest Room Coordinator to join our team at Howard Johnson I-Drive.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is able to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and has a passion for ensuring that every guest room is clean and ready for guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the cleaning schedule, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to a high standard, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the cleaning schedule to ensure that all rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the hotel.
  • Ensure that all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 months of experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and blood-borne pathogen certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
