We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physical Security Specialist to join our team at V2X. As a subject matter expert in physical security, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert for all aspects of physical security, including security planning, risk assessment, and security system implementation.
- Develop and execute Construction Security Plans (CSPs) to ensure compliance with ICD/S 705 Technical Specifications.
- Manage Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and closed-circuit camera systems to maintain a secure environment.
- Create and implement Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) to ensure prompt response to security incidents.
- Conduct physical security inspections of Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
- Complete Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and TEMPEST Checklists to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Apply security-in-depth concepts to ensure Facility Security Levels (FSL) are met.
- Develop and implement Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP) measures to prevent and respond to terrorist threats.
- Utilize Microsoft Office application suite to create reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in physical security or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in drafting and executing CSPs, interpreting and implementing ICD/S 705 Technical Specifications, and managing ACS, IDS, and closed-circuit camera systems.
- Technical expertise in security planning, risk assessment, and security system implementation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SPFC) or Physical Security Certification (PSC).
- 7 or more years of experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- 5 years' experience operating an ACS.
- Experience completing an ICD/S 705 Shipboard Checklist.
- Experience creating and issuing badges.
- Experience overseeing the construction of a mobile SCIF.
- Experience applying TEMPEST countermeasures.
- CDSE PSC Certification or IC equivalent.
