Position Overview
The Finance and Administration Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring effective financial communication within the organization and executing our financial strategy. This position serves as the main liaison for staff to comprehend and operate within the established financial guidelines of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Coordination:
    • Engage with staff and the bookkeeping team to guarantee timely completion of monthly reporting cycles.
    • Assist departmental leaders in understanding, monitoring, and managing their respective budget segments.
    • Deliver financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to senior leadership.
    • Collaborate with the bookkeeping and audit teams to ensure prompt finalization of annual financial reports and tax submissions.
  • Budget Management:
    • Work closely with the Vice President of Mobilization and Administration to refine budget policies, ensuring documentation aligns with current decisions.
    • Provide analytical insights on budgetary decisions and potential scenarios.
    • Educate staff on budgetary processes and expense protocols.

Key Relationships:
The Finance and Administration Associate will report directly to the Vice President of Mobilization and Administration.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in bookkeeping, budget management, or financial oversight is essential.
    • Experience in ministry settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Location: This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally visit our offices.
  • Travel: Some travel may be necessary.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in accounting, business, or mathematics.
