What We Seek:

This role involves the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of highly automated robotic and non-robotic machinery. The following processes may be encountered: resistance welding of steel and aluminum, projection welding, MIG welding, robotic dispensing applications of body sealant and adhesive, drawn arc stud welding, flow drilling, and various rivet assembly equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Diagnose and rectify faulty control systems using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, or other electrical testing tools.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Modify, create, and troubleshoot robotic programs.
  • Engage in preventative measures as necessary. Conduct corrective actions and perform problem-solving analysis and reporting as required.
  • Apply common sense in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Understand and execute detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness in personal workspaces and shared facility areas.

Work Schedule:

A Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Mon - Thurs and B Shift: 5:30 pm - 4:00 am Mon - Thurs.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills – Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents. Competent in using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, or other electrical testing equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot robotic programs. Proven skills in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling machinery and equipment.
  • Safety and Security - Adheres to safety, environmental, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and procedural guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe equipment, materials, or situations to supervision or management.
