Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Express Employment Professionals - Keego Harbor & Wixom, MI. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Welding: Fabricate and repair metal parts using MIG and ARC welding techniques.
  • Cutting and Measuring: Cut and measure metal parts using oxy acetylene torches, plasma torches, angle grinders, and band saws.
  • Mechanical and Electrical: Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Pipefitting: Install, repair, and maintain pipes and pipe fittings, including threading and cutting.
  • Electrical Systems: Understand and work with electrical systems, including single and three-phase systems, and PLCs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, cutting, and measuring techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
