JOB OBJECTIVE
To maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC mechanical and electrical systems across various retail sites, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing product loss while prioritizing partner satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. System Maintenance
Oversee the refrigeration and HVAC systems for a designated group of retail locations.


2. Equipment Repair
Conduct repairs on machinery, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, ensuring safety and efficiency that surpasses customer expectations.

3. Communication
Establish and maintain effective communication with Site Management to keep them informed of all maintenance activities.


4. Planned Maintenance Coordination
Collaborate with the Site Management team to ensure all scheduled maintenance tasks are communicated effectively, including diagnosing equipment issues and operational deficiencies to guarantee high-quality performance.

5. Job Updates
Provide timely updates regarding job progress.

6. Proactive Leak Management
Engage in proactive refrigerant leak detection and repairs.

7. Asset Maintenance
Uphold all assigned assets to the highest standards.

8. Preventive Maintenance
Execute refrigeration and HVAC preventive maintenance checks promptly as assigned.

9. Refrigerant Monitoring
Track and log refrigerant usage within assigned locations.

10. Safety Standards
Ensure cleanliness and safety in machine and electrical rooms.

11. Product Integrity Communication
Communicate with retail personnel as necessary to maintain the integrity of refrigerated products.

12. Emergency Response
Participate in the company's after-hours emergency response program.

13. Troubleshooting Assistance
Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues.

14. Inventory Management
Complete equipment inventories as assigned.

15. Additional Duties
Perform other job-related tasks as required.

16. Compliance
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with rack systems, display cases, and walk-in units.
- Journeyman certification in refrigeration and HVAC systems or equivalent experience.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Class I & II or universal).
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to comprehend and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain it.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Preferred in-depth knowledge of supermarket refrigeration equipment, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Refrigeration Controller Technology, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a successful track record in previous roles.
- Above-average troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and make sound decisions quickly.
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication abilities.
- High standards of integrity and reliability.COMPENSATION

Pay Rate: $25.00+
