Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure, portion, and cook all food items promptly
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure safe food storage
  • Execute opening, closing, and ancillary tasks following established protocols
  • Keep the workstation and equipment clean, organized, and adequately stocked
  • Implement waste management practices and document all waste on spoilage logs
Required Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience in a prep cook or line cook role
  • Experience in banquet settings is highly preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple orders simultaneously
  • Capability to adhere to procedures and follow instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills for recipe measurements and proportions
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for chopping, mixing, and blending various foods and liquids
  • Ability to lift heavy pans, weighing up to 50 pounds, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Work in a hot and humid environment
